Just a note to let you all know, Valentine’s Day is once again upon us. February 14th is the time to suprise that special one with a romantic excursion to the beach. A lot of things going on in Newport! Crabbing is going full bore and very tasty. Come to the “Couple’s Retreat at the Beach” and find the S’mores, Romantic Packages, and even some extras. Also, the Newport Wine and Seafood Festival is coming the weekend of February 23, 24, 25, and 26th. A lot of food, wine, and fun. See you here!!!

November 13th, 2011As we say goodbye to Terry and the gang, Ocean House welcomes the new owners from the High Rocky Mountains. Used to the rural cities and the great outdoors, we fell in love with this sweet area known as Newport, the grand Pacific Ocean with its spectacular waves and rocky cliffs. We are Craig and Dawn Lodge (yes, that is our name), your new innkeepers and would like to extend a warm greeting to all of you. Since we are only the stewards of the Inn, the heart and soul of the Ocean House will continue to be a place of peace and relaxation. A Couples Retreat!
